The irl creeper cape store page now says this: "Keep an eye out: Starting December 7th, unlock an exclusive in-game cape with the purchase of your Creeper Cape!" Edit: It's gone. There is an upcoming MCC cape style Bedrock server opening up on December 9th. Speculation says you will be able to unlock the cape for free as a part of the event.

Well the physical cape is just ugly as shit, so I understand why people would be upset. Idk why you would ever want to own the physical one, but you HAVE to to get the eye blossom cape. I think what they should have done is "if you buy any MC merch you get an eye blossom cape" so you at least have options.

The worst thing about the capes to me, is that they're time limited I do try to keep up with minecraft stuff, but i've NEVER gotton a cape because i just... miss them :')

Pretty sure no one is unironically gonna be wearing these after the Minecraft movie, since it feels like to me that they made this FOR the minecraft movie and looking at the path were going on so far, it feels like that movies gonna be a disappointment

I believe that the Minecon capes were actually the first ones that required a purchase, and most people couldn't get them because they couldn't physically attend those events. Honestly, I think it's a better option to sell capes online (either as standalone items or as part of a bundle, like in this case) rather than giving them out for attending a specific location. This way, everyone has an equal chance to obtain them, regardless of where they are.
