Great story! My dad was in the US Navy and he said he hated the submarines. It was extra pay and better food but, it wasn't worth it. Too cramped, too stressful and too dangerous. Watching this story helped put it into perspective for me.

@eliasblum753

As a former submariner who loves ghost stories, this ticked some boxes for me.

@jeffwang6460

I hear if you leave out a glass of red wine you'll attract the spirit of its sister ship, the UB-40.

@iraqafghanistanmarine6905

Glad the original narrator is back. Fantastic illustrations and storyline as always!!!

@austinkelly7500

Original narrator!?! Hell yea!!

@attilathegoon2986

The Kaiser ain't gonna be happy about this one

@jsb7586

18:53 to 19:15 gave me goosebumps. One of the best episodes so far. May God have mercy on the souls of the brave men of UB-65.

@DejaVuJT

Rich is SO good as narrator. I will miss his narration immensely.

@johndavies1090

I have a relative who, during his Royal Navy career, served on submarines. He told me that noone was allowed to serve more than two tours (peacetime) because of the nervous stress and other problems caused by the confined conditions. I take his word for that - and he was talking about modern boats, much bigger and better than the first generation of subs. Regarding 'sea monsters', many years ago I found an account of a small RN ship whose crew saw a strange, giant creature blown out of the water by, I think a depth charge they'd dropped on a suspected U-boat. So they used it for target practice....

One does not question a Bedtime Stories' video notification: it appears, you oblige.

Now, let me watch the video.

@pokerbum33

Nothing against the new narrator but you are much better

@lettuce6590

son: dad, can you read my a bed time story?

me: ah yes lets start off with a classic, "the ghost of UB-65"

@spacejaime

Fascinating account of UB65 and the short one of UB85. It appears almost too obvious that UB65 was cursed from inception - way too many freak accidents and related deaths. I wonder if any similar events to UB85 happened during WW2 regarding the "sea monster". Excellent presentation, as always.

@QuestionThings123

You have some of the best content of such channels on YouTube, and I pretty much follow them all. You always seem to find new stories that aren't widely reported on, which I personally greatly appreciate. It gets tiring hearing so many channels repeat the same stories over and over. Really enjoyed this one today too, I find paranormal sea/submarine stories to be terrifyingly fascinating, as the majority of our planet consists of the oceans, and we know so little of them, they may as well be another planet altogether. I could easily see several of these instances being some form of giant unknown sea creature attacking a u-boat. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to learn if that was what truly happened. Keep up the great work!

@moonchyld1475

I have always been fascinated with nautical hauntings. Great story as always! Thank you guys💙

@jazminchavez2383
