I love it when people like you can just quietly build a gun with minimal to no talking 🙏 it heals my inner introvert
no bullshit commentary about your friend's past or your talent in building weapons or whatever, just straight up relaxing and satisfying build. love this man
Anyone else finds these builds relaxing
Only thing id do different is to heat fit the barrel instead of beating it in. You get less chance of material loss and a tighter fit in the end when the receiver cools
This was like a therapy session for me. Just a man building a gun with no unnecessary talking involved, love it!
Building your own gun makes you feel like a Jedi making there own lightsaber and I’m here for it
Man I love building ARs, surely no springs will go flying across the room and I’ll spend half my time looking for them!
I’m somewhat new to firearms, and absolutely have zero experience building one. I never realized there were so many pins and springs and such. I guess I just didn’t have a clue how parts actually fit together. Very cool to see, and honestly your format was very relaxing and enjoyable to watch. Thank you!
I didn't know I needed an ASMR ar build video but this was great! I have the same Magpie action block and I guess I need to read the instructions because I didn't realize you used the carrier with it lol. Couple suggestions for future builds: 1. when you use a wrench fitting on a torque wrench, you need to have it at a 90 degree angle to the handle to get accurate torque readings. I did like you did for years before finding out there is a correct way to do it. 2. Forward control designs makes a gas block jig that fits most low pro gas blocks like you used and can be held in a vice to make installing the roll pin easier. Also, Geissele makes special punches just for that job as well. Makes that job so much easier.
Dude. You’re a good friend.
I will be uploading my friends reaction to it on shorts now! Parts List On Instagram!
through the video, all i can hear are the sounds of freedom and nothing else. good build.
The fact you’re gifting it away makes it even better. That thing looks amazing
Something about the way this was filmed is so satisfying! If youre up for some advice from a stranger. Remember to keep any 1/2" drive adapter at 90 degrees when torqueing unless you are taking that extra length in consideration when calculating what torque setting to use. For example, in the vid, the added length of barrel nut wrench is causing the applied torque to be much higher unless you put the setting at a lower setting to compensate. the amount to decrease can be calculated pretty easily since you know the length of the torque wrench and the setting you want it to be set at. Also, those magpul bench blocks are good for lowers and muzzle devices, but they dont actualyl support the upper receiver so torqueing on a barrel nut goes from barrel nut to upper to barrel through the index pin. The midwest URR supports the upper much better.
Great video. Beautiful rifle. Lucky friend.
I thought you were just adding parts to a already build rifle. Didn’t know you were building it literally, I’m really impressed. Came out amazing
Southpaw spotted! Beautiful build. I know switching over to green dots helped me a ton. I was able to pick my reticle up so much easier
My favorite moments are the satisfying clicks of the torque wrench! This is my ASMR... Thank you so much for posting
Love the straight content, no needless exposition, no mind-numbing conversation included every two minutes. I swear tutorial videos nowadays are 4x times longer because they like hearing their own voices.
