This challenge depends on the age of the coin, newer coils (after 1992 have a magnetic core (steel) older ones are a bronze alloy (much softer).

Sub 12ft air rifles kill small game perfectly and allow you to work on good hunting skills as they have less range…. I have an FAC and hardly ever shot my 223 or 308…. Depends on the job and your skill level… I would argue that UK air gunners are more skilled at what they do due to the lack of power and yet still get the desired result needed….. Good upload.

Thats a fine shootin rig. And you could see impacts on the coin on the coin cam. So the quality was on point. May not have been a successful attempt. But quite a successful video. Great shit homie.

Shooting through the coin completely depends on how accurate your gun and ammunition are. If you can put pellet on pellet over and over again then you'll get through. Your rifle and ammunition combination was putting the pellets all over the coin so you'll just go on forever without success.

I remember using non lead pellets once, zinc i think. They were very hard and light but accuracy and consistency wasn't great.

I did it back in the early 80's as a kid with a HW80 and the original steel Prometheus pellets, it turned the 2p piece into a witches hat the steel part of it ripped through without the skirt , the way I did it was use a set of mole grips to hold a large enough socket and I put the 2p piece in that.
