The correct answer is b) 398 This question isn’t about BODMAS/BIDMAS (PEMDAS if you’re American), it’s about the ‘-‘ in -1 You can write the question like this (200)+(-1)+(199) So you can do: - (200-1)+199 = 199+199 = 398 or - 200+(-1+199) = 200+198 = 398 You will always get b)398 Hope that helps

in Indonesia, this multiplication answer is 0, not 398. because in Indonesia (+) and (-) are done (+) first then (-) and the answer is 0

as per BODMAS RULE: 200-1+199 =200-200 (AS Bracket Of Division,Multiplication,Addition and Subtraction. =0. or 200+198 = 398 I believe firat answer is correct as per bodmas rule,or 2nd one,as the answer is obvious
