@virkez010

Pretty sure my first safety issue is the lack of eye protection. I met a one-legged welder, never met a blind one.

@mrfingers4737

Wearing safety sandals develops your self-awareness and improves safety in the long run.

@thisdayage7997

my buddy thats a mill wright took an old set of forks from a fork lift and cut a bunch of wedges out of them for this exact purpose and gave me like 4 of them ! the water tank welders use them on almost every seem and when the weld the brackets on that the wedge goes through they only weld 1 side of bracket…..the same side the wedge enters …..that way when they’re done they just hammer that bracket to the opposite side of the weld and it pops tight off in seconds and they grind is smooth and move on

@ronrico2620

I'm from a warm area so pants are too hot. I don't get any sparks stuck in my boots when I'm wearing safety sandals

@scotthicks8338

I've seen these guys do lots of crazy things......but it worked. 👍

@mr.walrus2107

The best thing about these guys, is there shop, attire, and overall tools make it seem like they wouldn't have a great weld but they are some of the best welds ive seen online 😂

@bladewiper

It's a feather and wedge. Been done since guys started welding. Probable comes from the carpentry trades, before that.

@anttikaipainen6072

Those jokes of yours... cracking me up

@UASteamFitter

You gotta do more of these review videos buddy, they’re amazing and hilarious!😂

@floydwilliams3321

Nice work

@teamidris

I’ve done that many times once upon a long time ago. It’s amazing how quarter plate can curve if you keep tacking and forcing it over like that.

@evilke-kneebone

their power comes from the sandals, Confucious say "the power flows from open toes"

@joshjones3408

Marry Christmas 🎄🎄bud ..you are a nut...👍👍

@flyingpaddy7525

@scrapahaulik5893

Laugh all you want but he's getting it done them guys have some incredible repairs

@crazyd1377

I’ve been in the exhaust business for 30 years. I weld wearing slides with no socks as long as you keep your feet out of the spark area you’re good. I even use a torch and slides! Plus, it’s way easier to get a spark off of your foot when you’re wearing a slide compared to shoes and socks where you gotta take all that stuff off just to find the hotspot cause remember when you get a hot bead done in your shoe it rolls around inside your sock doesn’t always burn through and come out!That’s where the term hot foot came from!

@adamhandyside9836

You crack me up

@LesWiles

I was caught off guard when he mentioned the sandals 😂

@kellybrewer5610

The flip flops are outrageous!!! Imagine some of that 7018 slag dropping on your toenails!!!😂😂
