Jimmy is one of the people who inspired Sean to do what he does. What a moment!
Sean Evans is one of the best interviewers I've ever come across. He always asks compelling questions and tries to connect with the people he's interviewing.
The best interviewer in the game, hands down. Dude is awesome. Love his modesty, humility, and ability to converse.
Anyone tried to sue you? "Not sucessfully" ππ Boss Answer!!
"The eye is kinda the second worst" was such a good hook line. The audience caught it and then it prompted Jimmy to interrupt his own next question to lean in and ask "..wait what was the first worst?". Sean is so good.
i met Sean Evans at Vidcon, like... almost 9 years ago?? he was passing by me walking in a rush and i just blurted out, "Sean, love your videos!" and he immediately stopped and turned to me holding out his hand and said "oh thanks! what's your name? nice to meet you! thanks for watching," i introduced myself and shook his hand, and off he went with a wave. i honestly thought it was so cool that, for someone who had JUST started blowing up on youtube, attending a youtube convention and obviously was trying to rush somewhere likely for industry purposes, he stopped and took a moment to really connect and say hello to a fan. it was a super simple interaction but it really left me with a great impression of the guy. he truly is a professional and is very present with everyone he meets. he makes it obvious that he's an incredible interviewer who pays attention to every detail, and its been amazing watching him rise in not only popularity online, but actual fame in the world of entertainment over the years.
Sean is a national treasure. Not only is his show so unique, but his interview skills are so revered, the guests mention it in nearly every episode. Between his demeanor making guests feel at ease, the interesting questions, and the humanizing factor of being brutalized by hot wings - his show can make (almost) any celeb likable.
Sean Evans is legitimately one of the best interviewers. He does such a great job asking questions while being right there with his guests and getting them through the hot sauce. He also somehow knows everything about his guests which is always hilarious to see their reaction to π
π€£π€£π€£"The eye is the second worst" joke was so funny I literally exploded into laughter once I got it! Probably the most painful piss of his life π₯²π
Been a Hot Ones fan since day one. It started the same month I went to therapy for the first time in 2015. I have a t-shirt and will probably get another piece of merch from their store. Jimmy's episode was really good and Sean is by far my favorite interviewer on YouTube and in media overall...
Sean Evans is a really likeable, very welcoming, fantastic interview with awesome energy. The one thing no one ever mentions because he's so good at it, is he never says the wrong thing. Even when people ask him questionable things or makes statements that are easy to get trapped into. Nope, he deflects it and moves forward like Neo!
It's so great to see Sean getting the recognition he deserves. He truly is one of the great ones.
Sean's questions and his research of his guests is what makes him the legend that he is. edit: For the record, EVERYONE is aware that he has a team that does the research as well. So thanks.
Sean's interviewing and commitment to the bit is what makes this show shine.
Sean Evans is THE BEST!! He's definitely one of the BEST hosts, & interviewers ever!! π
My favorite thing about Hot Ones interviews is not only how deep the research team goes, but how familiar Sean makes himself with it so that he knows what he's talking about when he asks each question, which is the catch for the guests. And he is clearly not asking to poke or prod, he's just asking the guests thoughts on the situation or whatnot. He never goes into controversial stuff, and I'm fine with that, because if he did, the quality of guests would suffer.
Iβm glad heβs going on and getting proper formal interviews now
0:14 what a stud!!
first time i see jimmy being genuinely nice to a guest and not trying to make a fool of him. Sean evidently earned his respect.
