That 300 Weatherby is the best one there
My vote would be for the .300 weatherby
My favorite elk rig for the 1/3 of the state west of The Divide is a good ol Rem M700 in 7mm Rem Mag. It's an older wood/blued version with an equally aged Leupold Vari-X III 4.5-14X40, and I trust a 175 gr Partition handload doing a bit over 2900 fps. When I head over to the in-laws east of The Divide for muleys and speed goats, I usually use a 160 gr Accubond or 162 gr SST, both of which leave the muzzle right at 3000 fps.
Awesome Whooteeho is there! ๐๐ป
I've known a few elk hunting pro's, but their rifles showed signs of being carried, packed, and scabbarded for countless miles.
Whootteho with the cheat sheet on the stock ๐๐.
I like the 300 Vanguard...the other $$$ TOO PRICEY for every day hunters
Thanks, but my 1918 made 03 Springfield still gets it done for over 100 years now. Hunting has turned into more of a fashion show and keeping up with the Joneses.
The pros use a 270 or 308 passed down to them from their grandpa and punch their tag every year
Whoo tee whoo for the win!!! Classic and undeniable cartridge.
300 Weatherby Vanguard. $500 and delivers an accurate wallopโค
That Badlands camo paint job looks awesome on the 300wby mag.
I love my .358 STA custom. Shilen barrel blueprinted Remington 700 stainless action, Mc Milan stock, Vortex Viper 6x24x50. She launches 225gr Nosler accubonds at 3186 fps. Delivering more than 5000 ft pounds of bone crushing knockdown power ๐ฎ๐
Seekins all the way ๐
I respect choosing the Weatherby Vanguard. I just got my Obsidian Vanguard last week and sighted it in same day. The accuracy was amazing.
Didnโt recognize Hank Hill until he started talking at the end ๐
Weatherby life! The vanguard best value.
Who tee who is awesome
I guess ill choose my Blaser R8 Lux, 300winmag, Zeiss V8 2.8-20x56
