Little Athena was indeed several weeks premature, but not unexpected. Beatrice was having some complications around Christmas that necessitated cancelling her plans to spend Christmas with her in-laws in Italy. The precious little darling weighed 4 lbs. 5 ounces, tiny but perfect according to her papa. Thank you for posting the picture, Elliot! I hope your kitties get to experience that fluffy little blanket!

I didn’t forget, but until this announcement I didn’t quite remember lol. But yes my second thought was that it was early. Anyways, congrats to them and their beautiful baby girl. I wonder if Athena was a nod to their Greek heritage via Prince Philip.
