TriedandRefusedProductions channel review clearly said, Shahid Kapoor blatantly lied in an interview that his Hindi movie Deva was not a remake of Mumbai Police. Most of the people who had watched Malayalam movie Mumbai Police, would have suspected it is a remake when they shown the dias in the trailer. Also, director of Deva is Rosshan Andrews who directed the original Malayalam movie as well. Just they made some changes involving dance numbers and some action sequences which sticked out like a sore thumb. Better they could have sticked to the original. Karthi bro, please don't waste your time in watching these shoddy remakes just because of the poll results. Given your knowledge on films, your gut feeling would say what might be good and what may not be. I believe you would have guessed it's a remake of Mumbai Police. Shahid Kapoor in the past acted in remakes of movies like Arjun Reddy, Jersey which he pulled off as an actor in a better way. But in this, he had failed and not sure, probably Rosshan Andrews succumbed to the pressure of Bollywood and made a bad remake of his. Of late, Bollywood is not able to make any good story based movies except couple of them. Emergency was one such, with brilliant performances of all the actors, even if their role is brief. Only issue was, it could have been long and the screenplay was bit rushed. Also, the songs were not necessary. The actors who played the role of AB Vajpayee, Col Sam Manekshaw started singing in those songs looked bit weird. Wish they make a web series on the life of Indira Gandhi ji with powerful cast. She is a powerful personality.

Karthi anna if you dont know the real twist of the malayalam film its better to watch mumbai police once again. Cause of the murder is out of the world. Pritvi do it before 12 years is surprising . I heard that in hindi they change the climax twist and the emotion connection between the characters lack in the script.
