I take you to Sawara, known as the “Little Edo” of Hokuso. Sawara has been selected as an “Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings” and is often used for filming of movies and TV programs, retaining the atmosphere of the Edo period. The old buildings and cobblestone streets along the Ono River make visitors feel as if they have stepped back in time. There is also the former residence of TADATAKA INO, the famous cartographer of Japan, where visitors can learn about his achievements and history. Please enjoy the tour.
