New Orleans Pride Tour | Highlights of LGBT Sights

In today's video, Free Tours by Foot New Orleans guides Andrew, Robi, and Sandy celebrate Pride Month with sites and stories connected to LGBT+ history in the French Quarter.

They visit the likely oldest gay bar in the country, tell the stories of the crises that have forged the local LGBT+ civil rights movement including the UpStairs Lounge Fire, visit and reminisce about gay and lesbian bars past and present, share some queer-affirming stories from the vodou religious tradition, discuss New Orleans' one-of-a-kind gay Mardi Gras balls . . . and try to take shots and then say as much of "LGBTQQIAGNC+" as we can.
