Building an Outdoor Table

This DIY outdoor table is made out of 2x cedar and only requires a few basic power tools to build. I made a version with an all wood top as well as a version that uses some salvaged materials like a glass shower door and some stone tile. I prefer cedar for outdoor projects due to the look and durability but any 2x lumber will work. to find a cedar dealer near you go to:
