Join us as we kick off our 3-day adventure in Bahrain!

We started our journey from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, leaving at 4 AM and driving across the border into Bahrain. Our first stop was the National Museum of Bahrain, a treasure trove of history and culture, where we explored ancient Dilmun artifacts, vibrant art exhibits, and Bahrain's rich maritime legacy.

After immersing ourselves in the island’s heritage, we enjoyed a flavorful Sri Lankan lunch at Zaynah Restaurant. With our stomachs full and spirits high, we checked into Ramada by Wyndham for a brief rest before continuing our adventure.

Next, we ventured to Bahrain Fort, a historic site that once stood as a powerful defense along the coast. Walking through the fort's weathered stones, we could feel the echoes of Bahrain’s past. Our day continued with a relaxing visit to Karbabad Beach, where Sandu experienced a breathtaking horse ride along the shore as the golden sunset painted the sky.

As night fell, we explored Avenues Mall and enjoyed a tranquil boat ride on Bahrain Bay. To wrap up our exciting day, we indulged in a delicious dinner at Machan Lanka - Restaurant and Bar, savoring the flavors of Sri Lanka once more.
