How to get started on Pinterest for beginners #pinterestmarketing #pinterestforbeginners #pinterest

THE STEPS ARE HERE! ⬇️

Here’s exactly what I would do if I had to start back over on Pinterest, and the WHY for each.

1. Set up a Pinterest business account and confirm my domain: you quite literally HAVE to have a business account in order to market on the platform, and you’ll want to confirm your domain because that will help index Pins directing to your site (which is where I’d like to see you driving traffic)

2. In-depth keyword research + looking at the top ranking Pins for the keywords you want to rank for: Pinterest is a search engine, therefore, you have to understand what keywords your audience is searching for on the platform. You’ll want to strategically use those keywords in all.of.the.places. in order for them to discover you. Look at the top ranking Pins to gain inspiration and see if you can find any similarities.

3. Optimize your account: Use keywords in your profile name, bio, and make sure you have a set up a profile picture. You’ll also want to update your cover photo, I like to utilize that real estate and use it as a CTA for what to do next for my audience. Your profile can rank in search! Keywords help it!

4. Create 10-15 niche-relevant Boards: these will house your content, and you’ll look at them as “content buckets”. You can create more Boards as needed. Boards can rank on Google, they need to also have a keyword optimized description!

5. Design scroll-stopping Pins: Pinterest is VISUAL, how will you make your content visually appealing through design and video? Pro tip: use keywords in your text overlay
