NEW PHOTO: Dump truck overturns in tunnel

A crash closed the right northbound tube of the Fort McHenry Tunnel, backing up Interstate 95 through Baltimore Friday afternoon. SkyTeam 11 reported the crash involves a dump truck and a car inside the tunnel and that a trapped person was rescued. Maryland Transportation Authority police confirmed that the dump truck overturned inside the tunnel around 3:55 p.m. No injuries were reported, police said. MDTA police said the overturned dump truck spilled gravel onto the roadway in the tunnel. Traffic was backed up past the Beltway exits in Arbutus. SkyTeam 11 video showed traffic passing by through the left northbound tube of the tunnel.
