जम्मू कश्मीर में राष्ट्रविरोधी प्रवृत्ति में किसी तरह की कमी के लक्षण दिखाई नहीं दे रहे। राज्य के नेता कभी ऐसा होने भी नहीं देंगे। अलगाववाद और राष्ट्र विरोध ही उनकी राजनीति का खाद पानी है। उनको पता है कि इसके बिना उनकी राजनीतिक दूकान बंद हो जाएगी । इसके लिए ज़रूरी है कि कश्मीर के मुसलमानों में भावना को जगाए रखा जाय। यदि किसी को लग रहा हो जम्मू कश्मीर का विशेष दर्जा ख़त्म होने के बाद अब्दुल्ला परिवार की सोच में कोई अंतर आ गया है तो उसे अपनी ग़लतफ़हमी का इलाज करा लेना चाहिए । अब्दुल्ला परिवार न बदला है और न कभी बदलेगा। उसकी नज़र घ टी में दिहाड़ी माहौल को गरमाए रखने और उसके ज़रिए दबाव बनाकर पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा बहाल कराने का है।
