How to prevent rice crop plants from high temperatures or heat stress | Abid Ali Agrarian

In this video, I will discuss some verity critical stages of rice crop and their needs such as;
1) Rice crop on booting stage
2) Rice crop on pollination or flowering stage
Both above mentioned stages are reproductive stages of rice crop. Rice crop plants need 35 degree Celsius temperature on these stages. Above this, pollination stage is badly affected by heat stress. As a result less number of rice grains are achieved by the farmer. Ideal temperature for pollination is less than 34 degree centigrade which is not now a days.
Our growers need to cool down their paddy crop by adopting any tip from the following;
1) Frequent Irrigations or standing water in paddy fields
2) Potash fertilizer usage (fertigation or foliar application)
3) Boron spray
4) Amino acid spray
Foliar spray are suitable to apply on rice booting stage. At heading stage, we may apply foliar spray but in the evening time.
