Well, it was bound to happen, eventually, but Microsoft acquired Actvision-Blizzard, and Bobby Kotick gets a $390 million golden parachute as a reward. Still, things should hopefully be better with Phil Spencer at the helm, so long as existing multiplatform and crossplay contracts continue to be honored now, and in the future.

But if that's got you nervous, rest easy: February's massive slate of AAA releases is just a month away, with a whole slew of exciting games for you!
