Building Education Technology That Transforms Classrooms

Research shows that positive teacher-student relationships are foundational to learning. That’s why CZI’s education team collaborates with educators, researchers, students, and community leaders to develop research on how students learn and develop. CZI’s in-house, multidisciplinary team of engineers, product managers, and designers then build education tools that can help teachers foster stronger connections with their students to increase student learning.

One of those tools is Along, which uses research-backed reflection questions to make it easier for teachers to build one-on-one connections with their students. Students and educators can respond via audio, video, or text, allowing teachers to better understand and motivate their students — and ultimately accelerate their learning.
